Prof. dr. Peter Feys

Peter Feys, a physiotherapist and professor at UHasselt, Belgium performs interdisciplinary research focused on gait and upper limb rehabilitation in neurological conditions, particularly Multiple Sclerosis, stroke, DOC and CP/DCD. Specifically, psychometric research of outcome measures, and research to gain insights in functioning by integrating neuro-imaging and technology are performed, followed by rehabilitation programs. He led the European RIMS network and contributed to initiatives like PMSA, PROMS, and SRRR. Active in global collaborations, he participated in the MS Clinical Trials Advisory Committee, PROMS initiative and a Cochrane Rehabilitation field meeting. UHasselt is part of WHO’s World Rehabilitation Alliance, aligned with the 2030 Rehabilitation Action Plan.
